There are currently multiple different ways for users to opt-in to receive messages from your page. Choose which opt-ins will work for your pages.
ShopMessage Growth Tools
ShopMessage plugins let you capture Facebook Messenger opt-ins at key points in the customer journey. Our pop ups off users the Send to Messenger button along with an offer. With just one-click your users can opt-in, helping you to grow your Contact list.
Choose to display your promotion on arrival, exit, a specific intent, persistently and/or post-purchase! Find as many different points in the journey to prompt an opt-in.

The Checkbox Widget
The Facebook Messenger checkbox widget opts users in when the checkbox is checked and the user clicks on the add to cart button.
The widget currently has two states, checked or unchecked. If you had a pre-checked checkbox prior to September 21, 2018 your checkbox will automatically appear like this:

If you had not previously secured pre-check approval, your checkbox will default to an unchecked state, like this:
- ShopMessage will automatically add this widget to your website.
- Facebook is no longer issuing pre-check approval for any reason. Stores that currently have pre-check approval will no longer have access to this feature as of April 9, 2019.
